Welcome to my blog!

This blog was birthed in the Coronavirus pandemic with a mixture of boredom and inspiration. It will be a dump for my thoughts on anything related to data, but will be mostly used for football analytics! Sometimes I post my drone videos here if I feel like flying!

About myself - Zhi Yuan Chua

I moved to London, UK from Singapore in 2015 to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering and ended up in a career in data analytics. Currently working as a technology consultant in Deloitte, I have donned various caps in Data, working with multiple client engagements across Public Sector and large Consumer Product space. These roles involved Data engineering, science and visualisations.

I love football (as you would have probably realised by now) and Arsenal (unfortunately at this point in time) is my team. Recently, I got into the football analytics space to integrate the 2 things I thoroughly enjoy doing. I am really keen to learn new ideas on how we can use Data to better understand the beautiful game!
